End Fed Random Wire Antenna

I needed a quick multi band antenna for the mountain house. Getting wire up into the trees has proven to be difficult, for any height. My original goal was a Dipole. Well no more. I once again ran across M0UKD's site and his mention of constructing a 9:1 unun for a end fed random wire antenna. A quick order from eBay for a T130-2 toroid, some irrigation wiring from the Big Box store, and prior antenna project box, and I had the major part s in hand.

After a quick lash up, I had everything ready to hang from the house and a nearby tree. I was mostly interested in an antenna that would allow me to operate on 40-10m, for this initial install.

I also used K7MEM's sight for choosing the proper length for my given installation. I chose 35 feet for antenna length. It has proven to be an adequate length for 40, 30, 20, and 10 meters.

Here are a couple of photos of the installation.
